My Trip to Andaman Islands with myandaman.com

It was a good trip to remember so let me tell you all about it?.. It was a pleasant day in Mumbai and just the right day to set out on our trip to Andamans and Nicobar Islands. So we left our place in Dadar, Mumbai at 4:20 am and headed to the Chhatrapati Shivaji airport at Santa Cruz. We were taking a flight which first went to Chennai and then went on to Port Blair, Capital of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

We boarded the GoAir flight and reached Chennai at 7:15 am. We waited for an hour in the plane itself. The flight took off for Port Blair at 8:30 am for a 2 hour 15 minutes flight. After the long flight, we reached Veer Savarkar airport, Port Blair, Andaman Islands. We got our baggage and went to the exit terminal to meet the person from myandaman.com who had come to receive us. The car took us to Hotel Sentinel. I saw the entrance, it was beautiful!!!! We took our room key and settled in our room. It was also very nice. We kept our luggage and rested on the bed. When it was lunch time, we went to the 'Coastal Harvest Restaurant' and had our lunch.

We went back to our room. After some time, we went to the Anthropological Museum with myandaman. Then we went to the Aquarium and after that to the Cellular Jail. In the jail, we saw the 'Light and Sound' show. By now it was late evening and we went to Hotel Annapoorna and had our dinner. We came back to the Sentinel with the car of myandaman.

The next day, we went to Havelock Island by a luxury cruiser called 'Makruzz'. It was an enjoyable ride. When we reached Havelock, we got into our car of myandaman which was waiting for us and drove to Cross Bill Resort. At the reception, we got the key to our cottage. It was right on the beach and although it had only one room, it was quite convenient. We had lunch in the restaurant and in the evening we went to Radhanagar Beach. It was simply beautiful. We went swimming and the next one hour was simply bliss.

The next day, we went to Elephant Beach. There we went 'sea walking' and snorkelling. We also rode a glass bottomed boat which was complimentary from myandaman. We could see the lovely corals through the glass and, of course, we loved it. After that, we headed back to Port Blair by a Government catamaran ferry. It was a long ride but we enjoyed it. When we reached Port Blair, we went directly to Hotel Sentinel. After some time, we went swimming in the pool. When it was time to go back to our room, we came out of the pool reluctantly.

The last day in Andamans was the best day ever. We went to Mount Harriet. There we went trekking to see the black rock or 'Kala Pathhar' as it was called. The trekking was offered by our tour operator myandaman.com The 2.5 km trek was quite scary because of the leeches but we managed it. We then came back to our Hotel.

Oh! It was such a good vacation at Andamans with myandaman.com and I can't wait to come back again.
